name for this plant in Africa. This plant is ancient and has had a relationship with humans for thousands
of years. It is said to have been originally cultivated somewhere in Ethiopia and then spread through
Africa and Asia through migration and trading. There is documentation of its oil being used for culinary
and medicinal purposes up to 5,000 years ago
