Root worker is also based on wild thyme. I admire the ability of this plant to grow in rocky, seemingly
unsustainable environments. It’s adaptive and resilient. I was listening to D’Angelo’s song The Root, a
song about a conjure woman working root on a man, and I started to think about how many people are
working root by continuing a relationship with a plant for thousands of years. A love spell for their land
and a mutual respect and admiration.
