Rosie Clements b. 1990, US

Rosie Clements (b. 1990) is a photographer based in Los Angeles whose practice reconstitutes digital images as physical objects. In her recent work, she prints photographs onto bubble wrap using a UV printer, so that each bubble becomes a kind of tactile pixel. Clements tests the boundary between the material and the virtual, asking what a photograph becomes when it is given a body.

Clements received her MFA from the University of Texas at Austin in 2024 and is represented by McLennon Pen Co., Austin. Solo exhibitions include Faux Camo at Megan Mulrooney, Los Angeles (2026), and Pure Semblance at McLennon Pen Co. (2024). She has presented work at NADA Miami with McLennon Pen Co., and with Megan Mulrooney at Felix Art Fair in Los Angeles and Upstairs Art Fair in Paris. Her images have appeared in The New York Times, including a 2025 Sunday Opinion cover. Her work has been covered by Der Freitag (Berlin), It's Nice That, BOOOOOOOM, and Southwest Contemporary.
